The Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Internal Medicine Club is dedicated to providing its members with numerous practical, clinical and informational events to supplement their academic knowledge and aid in the quest of becoming excellent physicians, regardless of the discipline they choose. We recently held a Learning Assessment Center Procedure Clinic, in which students learned how to intubate patients, start central lines, perform lumbar punctures, and more. In January, we will be collaborating with the MSUCOM Geriatrics Interest Group in performing a Falls Assessment Risk Screen, one of the winning proposals of the 2007 Michigan Osteopathic Association's CORE Grant. 2007-2008 Executive Board: |
